Local Enrichment Programs• Legacy Enrichment: Thursdays 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. September through May, at First Baptist Euless. Kindergarten–Sixth Grade. For more information contact Cindy Spohn at 817-267-3313, ext. 341. • Faith Christian School: Various programs for all ages, located in Grapevine. A Homeschool Umbrella Program is available for kids in K–5th grade. Spanish, Art, Music, PE, Library and Chapel with other home schoolers on Wednesdays during the school year, from 8:50 am–2:30 pm. 6th–12th graders can take up to three classes with the regular students. • Restoration F.A.M.I.L.I.E.S. A ministry of Restoration Church in Euless, Restoration FAMILIES offers enrichment classes on Thursdays during the school year, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. See the website for more details. • Sonlight Co-op: Sonlight is a co-op for all ages. Parents must participate in teaching and helping with classes. They meet on Wednesdays during the school year at Harwood Terrace Baptist Church in Bedford. • The Learning Odyssey: The Learning Odyssey in Fort Worth offers a Montessori preschool as well as classes for ages 5 through high school in Science, Etc. This year, in addition to science, Spanish and art classes, we are adding American History, Latin, Creative Writing, Classical Literature and Physical Education. Course, contact: Mary Hamilton 817-921-4404 • Tarrant County Community College: Offers enrichment classes for children and youth in the areas of math, science, language arts, foreign languages, sports, and fine arts. • Circle of Science: Classes taught by Mrs. Wila Rollerson, at the Circle of Science center, 1605 Lopo in Lewisville. For information, call 972-691-5687. • Creative Arts In Action: Homeschool Resource Center and Coffee House in Watauga Texas. The Center offers some classes for students, an extensive curriculum store featuring popular homeschooling products, a kids reading room and a fully functioning coffee house that allows parents to relax and review the different kinds of curricula available in a relaxed atmosphere. Creative Arts In Action • Dominion Equippers: Dominion Equippers is a new home school learning center in the area. They offer enrichment classes on Mondays and Wednesdays for ages birth to eighteen. It is very affordable and parents may either drop off their children or volunteer and receive a tuition discount. Dominion is located at First Baptist Church of Ft.Worth. • Venture Homeschool Enrichment: A one day a week program that meets on Thursdays 8:45 - 2:45 in Colleyville. The classes are history, science, Spanish, art/music, Bible & character training (which is incorporated with writing practice) and P.E. • PAR-4: Physical Activity & Recreation For Homeschoolers (PAR-4) We are an 8-month fitness and recreation co-op program for homeschooled children.
